On the weekend of 23 to 24 January, the now eleventh Japan Festival Berlin took place in the Urania. As in all previous years had also this year the Sumi-e champion Rita Böhm their information and sales booth directly behind the entrance.

The interest in Sumi-e in general and to the works exhibited was huge. The booth was almost constantly under siege.
Sumi-e Demonstration
In the event platforms Rita Böhm gave on both days samples of her painting. This Sumi-e demonstrations also found enormous response, the halls were partly crowded.
